Practice Description
Yulia Cherepanova is an associate in the Philadelphia office of Marks & Sokolov. Her practice focuses on matters involving questions of Russian Law, international litigation and civil procedure.
Prior to joining Marks & Sokolov, Yulia worked at the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation at the Department for Organization of Visa and Registration Proceedings in Moscow. There, she assisted foreign clients from the CIS, Eastern Europe and Asia with registration in the Russian Federation. She also provided legal consultation to domestic companies and government organizations, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Presidential Executive Office, on various provisions of Russian Immigration legislation. Prior to her tenure with the Federal Migration Service, Yulia worked as an attorney in the Moscow office of Rodnoy Dom, Ltd., advising individuals on finance and lending matters. Yulia received a Master’s degree of Law from the International Independent University of Ecology and Politology in 2002. |
